Welcome to the Louisville Mothers of Twins Club!

The purpose of our club is to promote knowledge and understanding of multiples and to encourage peace of mind within individual members. We meet and discuss problems and joys specifically related to raising twins, triplets, and quadruplets. We all have something in common, and we're all here to help one another.

Dear Members: Woman behind computer

Each year, we plant a garden in our backyard. This year, for the first time, our twins are old enough to become involved by helping us dig holes, plant seeds, and pull weeds. Sometimes, it seemed Zachary and Zoe would get more dirt on each other than on the spot they were actually supposed to be putting it. They have loved being involved in the garden and we are hoping that as our garden begins producing,

At the June club meeting we had 29 members in attendance. Sallie Nehoff, a dietician, gave a presentation on developing healthy eating habits for your children. Some strategies to help you achieve this include the following:

Big Sister Update

Based on feedback from our members, we are excited to announce a change to our meeting format and a different approach to our big sister/little sister program.

In order to provide better support for our new members, as well as our current members, we are going to begin starting all of our meetings with a small group format based on your twins’ ages. Beginning in August, LMOTC meetings will run from 7-9 pm. For the first hour, we have a small group session for our MoM’s, grouped as follows:

Current members may shop at 8:30 am. We WILL NOT be renewing any memberships at the Fall Sale. Please renew your membership online through Big Tent before July 15th. As another school year draws to a close marking the start of warm summer days to come, our minds begin to wander to all the fun things we will do with our kids. When I think back to my own childhood, some of the best summer days I can remember were the result of my mom.
