Dear Members:
Each year, we plant a garden in our backyard. This year, for the first time, our twins are old enough to become involved by helping us dig holes, plant seeds, and pull weeds. Sometimes, it seemed Zachary and Zoe would get more dirt on each other than on the spot they were actually supposed to be putting it. They have loved being involved in the garden and we are hoping that as our garden begins producing, this sentiment will continue. We want for them to be as excited to see the fruits of their labor as they are in savoring it at dinner time.Now that school is out and summer is officially in full swing, I am sure you are all busy spending time with your families, taking much needed vacations, and generally having loads of fun. I hope that each of you has plans to attend our sizzling event at the Louisville Bats stadium on Saturday, July 17th. This fantastically fun family event for all ages will provide fabulous foods for the famished, an engrossing Bats game for the baseball buff, and excellent playground entertainment for the enthusiastically energized.
